Starting a Trucking Company in Canada? Let's Get You Set Up the Right Way.
Authority, permits, insurance, IFTA, IRP. We have been through it all and we walk you through every step so nothing falls through the cracks before your first load.
Starting a trucking company in Canada is not as simple as leasing a truck and hitting the road. There is a list of registrations, permits and documents standing between you and your first legal load and if you miss one it can cost you time, money and loads you cannot afford to lose.
Most new carriers figure this out the hard way. Hauling without proper permits, missed IFTA deadline, insurance that does not cover what it needs to cover. We have seen it all and we help you avoid every single one of those mistakes before they happen.
Book a free consultation with us. We sit down with you, learn your situation and walk you through exactly what you need to get your trucking business running legally and profitably in Canada.
What We Cover in Your Consultation
Province or Federal Registry
We help you decide whether to register provincially or federally based on where you plan to operate and what makes the most sense for your business structure.
Operating Permits
NSC if you are based in BC, Alberta, Saskatchewan, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Northwest Territories or Yukon. CVOR if you are in Ontario. NIR if you are in Quebec. We make sure you apply for the right one in the right province.
Insurance
Commercial auto and cargo coverage. We connect you with the right insurance company for your equipment type and your lanes so you are properly covered from day one.
IRP Registration
If you are running interprovincially or cross-border you need IRP plates. We walk you through the registration process so your truck is plated correctly before you take your first load.
IFTA Registration
If your truck crosses provincial or international borders you need an IFTA account. We explain what it is, how it works and get you set up before your first cross-border run.
Factoring Setup
Getting paid fast matters especially when you are just starting out. We connect you with a factoring company that works with new carriers so you are not waiting 45 days on your first broker payment.
ELD Compliance
Electronic logging device requirements in Canada. We make sure you know what you need, what qualifies and how to stay compliant so you are never caught off guard at a scale.
Cross-Border Paperwork
If you plan to run into the US we cover what you need beyond your Canadian authority. MC number, cross-border insurance, PARS, PAPS and eManifest through ACI or ACE.
Most new carriers make at least one costly compliance mistake in their first three months. A single missed permit or wrong registration can cost you more than your first month of revenue. One conversation with us prevents all of it.

Common Questions
I have no idea where to start. Is this consultation still for me?+
That is exactly who this is for. You do not need to know anything going in. We start from scratch and build the full picture together.
What province are you based in?+
We work with carriers across all of Canada. Whether you are in Ontario, Alberta, BC, Quebec or anywhere else we know the requirements for your province and walk you through them specifically.
Do I need to have my truck already?+
No. Some carriers book a consultation before they even buy their truck. The earlier you talk to us the better setup decisions you make.
What if I only want to run domestically and not cross-border?+
We cover both and you only go through what applies to your situation. If you are staying domestic we focus on your provincial requirements and skip the cross-border paperwork entirely.
If I sign up for dispatch after the consultation do I get the $200 back?+
Yes. If you book a paid consultation and then decide to dispatch with us within 30 days we credit the $200 toward your first month.
How long is the consultation?+
Usually between 30 and 45 minutes depending on how complex your situation is. Some carriers need more time and we never rush it.
